Whiskey Rapids Trail

The Whiskey Rapids Trail is an approximate 2km long loop and is located at Km 7 of the Hwy 60 corridor. It takes you on a leisurely hike along the Ox-tongue river and ends with a view of the Whiskey Rapids. It's a relatively easy hike with some very nice scenery. The Whiskey Rapids trail guide (available at the East and West gate as well as the trail entrance) talks about the river as well as the history of humans in Algonquin Park.

We give this trail 4 stars because of its tranquil scenery and because its relatively easy and relaxing to walk.
