Swimming and the beaches of Algonquin

Algonquin Provincial Park has many beaches and many more areas where you can just slip in for a dip. All of the campgrounds have beaches at them and there is also a beach at the town of Whitney that features a floating dock that can be swam to.

A day at a beach in Algonquin means fresh, clear and refreshing water and a relaxing day in the warm sand. There also a fantastic place to go to watch one of Algonquin’s fantastic sunsets.
