Logging Museum

The Logging Museum is a must see on your trip. It's a several kilometer long trail that showcases logging and the lives of early loggers in Algonquin Park. There is a black smith exhibit, stables and a movie theatre. Along the trail is many exhibits that showcase the kind of equipment early loggers used to move huge trees including the "alligator" boat that could pull itself across land to get from lake to lake and a replica of a logging shoot that would have been used to send trees into the rivers. Be sure to watch out of Loggers day where you can listen to old logging music and have an authentic loggers lunch!
